Embroidery Size Recommendations

To make sure your design looks its best, here are some helpful suggestions:

For simple designs, like:

Small logos
Short phrases or initials
Minimalist icons
Basic line drawing

We recommend 2 1/2inx2 1/2in or 4inx4in for a clean, clear result with minimal detail.

For medium-detail images, such as:

Close-up portraits or pet photos
Lightly shaded illustrations

4inx4in works well for moderate detail.

For highly detailed images, like:

Full-body photos or distant scenes
Complex artwork with shading and colors

Choose 5”x5” or larger for the best definition and clarity

Keep in mind: the more detailed your image is, the larger the embroidery should be—this is a great recommendation to ensure your design looks clean, sharp, and professional.

Requirements for Custom Embroidery Images

To ensure a high-quality result in your custom embroidery, it's very important that the image you upload meets the following conditions:

✅ Accepted file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG

✅ Recommended minimum resolution: 300 DPI

✅ Minimum size: at least 1000 x 1000 pixels (if square)

Key features:

The image must be clear, sharp, and free of shadows or glare.

Avoid blurry, pixelated, cropped, or poorly lit images.

If your design includes text, make sure it is readable and large enough.

Simple or transparent backgrounds are much easier to work with (detailed backgrounds may be removed or simplified).

Images with excessive detail or gradients may need to be simplified to embroider properly.

We do not accept screenshots or low-quality photos.
